About
Bottom Padding
Hi! I'm Chris. Dogs and photography are my passions. What started as just taking casual photographs of my own dog for fun, evolved into me wanting to help other families capture beautiful memories with their dogs.
I was born and raised in NJ and most recently lived in SF for a few years. I'm now back in Hoboken where my wife and I live with our French Bulldog, Winston (Instagram @winston_frenchie). He's feisty, incredibly stubborn, and loves to fetch.

What are the photo sessions like?
I'll first want to get to know about you, your pet, and what you had in mind. Then I can better understand and tailor a session to your needs. Sessions can include photos of you walking together around town, hanging out a park, playing at the dog run, or some place with a scenic backdrop like the NYC skyline.
"The 8 Best Pet Photographers in San Francisco" (Peerspace.com): "Chris’s specialty is dogs. Combining portraits of the pets themselves with images with their owners, Chris puts together a diverse package of images for his clients. His images are always well-lit, and they make creative use of the environment he’s shooting in. They’re a perfect way to make some great memories with your pet."

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Bottom Padding
Will you travel to me?
I'm based out of Hoboken, NJ. There are no additional fees for sessions in the surrounding areas like Jersey City, Weehawken, Edgewater, or Union City. If you are further out, I will let you know upfront if additional travel fees may apply.
How does this work?
I will communicate with you to understand your goals for the session, who are the subjects, provide any recommendations as-needed, and then schedule a date/time/location with you. Go to the Session Details page for more info!
What should I know on the day of the session?
Relax, wear whatever makes you comfortable, and have a good time! For your dog, it helps to bring along some of their favorite treats (or toy) to help get their attention for photos.
What happens after the session?
Photos will be delivered to you online within 1-2 weeks. I will review, pick out the best shots, and lightly edit them as-needed. I aim to provide natural looking photos. The photos will be uploaded to a private online gallery. You will have full resolution photos for printing, and scaled down versions that are more convenient to share online.
I have a high energy puppy, what do I do?!
Many of my sessions happen to be with younger pups, some of which are high energy and are still learning their commands - and that's okay! It always takes a bit of patience, some extra treats, and we'll work on how to best get their attention for the camera.
Do I own the photos after the session?
The final selected photos provided to you after the session are yours to keep! There is no additional proofing review process needed. You'll get low and high resolution versions of the photos, and you can print them all to your heart's content!
What if the weather forecast says it might rain on the day of my session?
Sessions can be re-scheduled due to inclement weather at no additional charge. We'll usually have a good idea of the weather a few days before, and can re-schedule to the next available date if needed.
